Sadness In The Park Poem by Timothy Long

Sadness In The Park

The leaves crunched under my feet as I looked around the empty vanishing dark park, the clouds were disappearing leading a sad stary night, walking the old bench on the fields I see the ghost of the park sitting all alone like this dark dreary hell was his home, that displays the parks beauty is an illusion to trick the many but the few like him, I still look today and see a darkness in that light as if a deathly spirit is in my view, the shade brings in the smiling heaven in which it meant to be happy but for a few not unlike me and you it is good two, to never fail to see the 4 seasons each with a new emotion, then animals disappear with new meanings in life as I'm left alone in a once happy thriving park, the wind still blows by me every now and again, I still can make the old who used to play here and the youth that will, even in the lonely park can boom in a single speck of happiness as I look back I smiled in the darkness is gone.
