Sacrificed Generation? Poem by Fuhnwi Jarvis

Sacrificed Generation?

I'm living in a nightmare and hope to wake
But I'm made to sleep till dawn
Maybe I'm still living just for heaven's sake
Wondering if it will be till curtains drawn

They think they'll render us in nothing
I'm convinced they're wrong
This captivity is now a routine
My flesh is weak, my spirit is strong

I'm taking a look at my worth
Glancing at today's picture
Working harder, pressing forth
So as to erase this bleak future

'tis said the saviour went underneath
Before arising to his glorious shine
I may not make it on this filthy earth
But I'll surely cross that heavenly line
