Royalty Of Spring Poem by Theodora (Theo) Onken

Royalty Of Spring

Rating: 5.0

What wonder of wonders
.....What royalty doth proclaim
Being so alive in the Garden of verdance- -
.....Utterly refreshed by an April rain.

Brilliant buds spring forth - soon to open wide
.....With wafting fragrance - blanketing the countryside
Pale pinks or yellow hues of Royal mastery- -
.....Tastefully embellished with Lavender-completing this stunning tapestry.

Raising such a regal display - thus heralding in the Spring
.....Welcoming all of the royalty that this rebirth brings- -
Greeting Easter Sunday - near the arbor's of the pale pink rose
.....While honoring the resurrection - in a Springtime prose.

Your poem shouts with royal proclamation about the beauties of spring flowers- -so much joy in your poetic voice that I am falling into your mood even though I am sicker than a dog. That is great writing to be able to do that. And I love the tie-in with Easter.... gorgeous! 10++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
