Room Of Trees Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Room Of Trees

Room of Trees

The magnificent God touched
Room of trees
He wondered how they were constructed.
The room was the expanse of the Heavens.

He looked above and around
And he smelled the trees' perfume.
This room of trees had many doors
And the scent was intoxicating.

Oh room of trees
He wished to live in it forever.
His walk was cut short though.
He had to go back to his home.

The magnificent God touched
Room of trees
He wondered how they were constructed
For his forest was a big room of trees.
