Rollercoaster Poem by katie badham

Rollercoaster

Rating: 5.0

I don't like the carrolsell..
It just goes around
and up and down...
I need something new and fresh
some thing that makes me catch my breath
Something that makes me scream
Never let me take that path again,
you like the carrolsell...
not me..you should try my life
it's not about the future, it's about enjoying the ride
Am i right? ....

More than a poem? This is what poems are suppose to be...This is something worth writing, this is something worth reading. Good job Kate.

The rollercoaster as a metaphore for life. Interesting. A ride in a rollercoaster is of course much more adventures and varied than the boaring going around in a carousel. According to Wikipedia the rollercoaster comes in many types and layouts like: 'the corcskrew, the twister, the wild mouse and the vertikal drop.
