Roller-Coaster Poem by Alexander Foald

Roller-Coaster

As a star falls down behind the sacred mountain
Hides everything truth from our vision
We become far from aware of something real
Even with these eyes, I’m still lack of confidence

We are so close, yet it feels so far from each other
We never knew each feeling but we wanted to be together
Promises being granted only to be broken someday
It’s hard to believe when every truth is being told in a way

And our prayers are fading in the mist of memories
Heartbroken people crawl on the ground to find peace
Can we really say that it’s best to save today for the sake of tomorrow?
When will be there an understanding to let love overcome our sorrow?

I’m living like that star
That falls down within speed of light
Life takes no effort to make me desperate
Only hopes and dreams can save me from hell
