The Garden's Fall Poem by Alexander Foald

The Garden's Fall

Thousands of lights out in the night
Fly over my window
Trying to light up the room
Where I put my dream on

As if I could see what will happen
If the dark swept from my eyes
It’s only a matter of time
Before the morning awakes me

And you will disappear again
Another waiting crushes my heart
I can stand by the night all along
But I can’t stay if you leave me

My dream, my beautiful
Will you turn right over it?
Let the time sink in the moonlight
While we watch the garden’s fall
