Roaming Mind Poem by Kishore Kumar Das

Roaming Mind

Rating: 5.0

Mind is poised for embroilment
in the tireless journey
chasing for desires
short term and long term
people talk something;
and do another
that may be natural
go for selective interaction
how one leads life
is a lesson for other
everybody, a celebrity
the varied lifestyle setting the pace
too good may be bad
too bad may be good
in the deep subconscious mind
lust may dwell
greed may make its presence
crave for enjoyment may be embedded
doors of mind always open
neither ethics nor legislation
can check the mind:
every action, an experience
every experience has role to play
can one fulfill the dreams of all?
can one bring solace to all?
can one make everybody happy?
physical beauty may be the prime mover
but it will take a back seat
sooner or later
the jolly smile only matters...
in moving and shaking
the kind words only matter...
let the mind roam freely
in the onward journey
and find out the catalyst
and attain maturity
in due course of time.

I like the way you have presented the whole concept. Thank you, Kishore. I quote: too good may be bad too bad may be good neither ethics nor legislation can check the mind:
