River Poem by Paul Reed

River

I am not there,
But the river runs it's course, still
With no heed of me -
So unimportant to the world,
While it delivers it's ceaseless cargo to the sea;

O, to have such a task
And to carry it out to the full
With simplicity and purpose,
Single-minded in it's resolve
Undeterred and unflinching,
Plotting a true course;

Never turning back,
Moving forwards
Forever.

Single-minded in it's resolve Never turning back................//...... Extremely beautiful expression like the river itself that runs its course to the sea with simplicity and purpose.... undeterred and unflinching. Thanks a lot.
