Rhythm And Blues Poem by Quir Diing Jr.

Rhythm And Blues

Recalling the old Latin music
When I welcome you,
At home for a soiree
As you sit on the stool
Nearer the door step
At of a music sound;
I could only play rhythm and blues
Oh! The soft sounds, as like from
The southern sea ship.

Soft, sweet taste of it
Like a honey in its comb
As you try a wink of a dance
But who will you dance with?
Your wife is at home.
Like chameleon, I dance
Hissing and soft rock sounds of the lovely music.
Make you feel not to eat.
For you grow to a giraffe
In a moment of listening force.

I caught my wife in American style
Pull her closer to me
As we hop and bump, side by side
Like in Adam’s car.
Afterward
We kick off the African dance style
What a pride of family lovers
Recall our day at the Halloween
Dancing and listening to the unblamed
Soft sound of the southern belles.

Voices sound like created heaven
Men and women
All products of earth
Oh! What do they eat?
What do they feed their voices?
Neighbours ask and stare
While the music inspires my love
We enjoy hard dance
We enjoy the more soft dance
As we listens to those voices
Made from heaven
All in the name of rhythm and blues.
