Resting Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Resting

Resting
resting
after the fading:
the trees have to earth bent
the seas and Oceans still
and quiet the Earth engirdle:
the birds fly not,
the woodland animals sleep,
the vales and hills nod,
and humans tired rest
dreaming
