Restart Poem by Abby Mize

Restart

First day at Windy Gap
Its hard to learn the names
You'll forget about it soon enough
After you play some games

The obstacle course is very gross
In the middle of the night
Covered in dirt soaking wet
But we still put up a fight

On the second day waking up
Is not so fun to do
You'll get more energy when you see
The Windy Gap Young Life crew

When your standing in the creek
And water washes under your toes
Make sure you don't fall in
Or you'd have to change your clothes

Be careful walking in your room
You might just cause a scream
Is spitting crickets in the barn
Really worth ice cream

Missing people back home
Can bring out the worst in you
So give someone a call
Find faith to make it through

When we got a new server
Everybody screamed
The waiter is so hot
It's almost like a dream

The hoedown went on forever
It went on throughout the night
We all were acting like fools
My appearance was a fright

If you get bored at camp
I would suggest the lake
Blob, zip line, and slide
But watch out for a headache

Leaving what feels like home
Will really break your heart
But I know ill be back again
And I will get to restart

Oh wow reminds me of my town A small town where everyone knows everyone and living on a gravel road. This is truly country and I love it.
