Respect The Boxer Poem by Randy McClave

Respect The Boxer

Any person who has the guts
To receive strikes, hits and cuts,
Those who lace up their gloves and shoes
They all walk into the ring never looking to lose.
They are prepared to shed their own sweat and blood
Maybe from a hook or a strait right thud,
And they are always anxious and prepared to fight
Whether it be in the day, or in the night.
Those gladiators who walk inside the ring
With strength and determination that they always bring,
One thing no man should not ever forget
Those warriors, have already paid their debt.
This I will say to the boxers one and all
Inside the ring you all stand fierce and tall,
Pride and honor from you we see and expect
And each one of you, deserve our respect.
