Respect Poem by kate Emma

Respect

All I’ve ever wanted in life
Is to be treated as the same
For people look at me with respect
And not see me as a fun game

To be seen as a real human being
who has the right to live life free
to not be judged by people I don’t know
I just want them to leave me be

I want people to stop judging me
All I want is some respect
It shouldn’t be down to the way I look
It shouldn’t matter that I don’t look perfect

The way I look should not determine
Weather im worth the time or not
I want people to look past my outside
And see that im a person whos worth a lot

Im just as equal as everyone else
So I may not be beautiful to see
that shouldn’t be why im looked down upon
I shouldn’t be seen differently
