Renewal Poem by John Dubois

Renewal

I was lost and alone in a world of despair
I don't know how to live without you there.

A world without you was dark and bleak
but now I found a girl on fleek.

But now that I have found her I may be able to see
how I can have a life where there is no you and me.

My life can finally have meaning now that I have moved on
and I can stop the endless nights of thinking about the fact that you are gone.

She is wonderful and magnificent, everything you were not
and now I can see that you were just a thot.

I am moving on without you, it's true
but she is everything I needed, and it turns out that wasn't you
