Remembrance Poem by Nathaniel Graves

Remembrance

Shot back
To what was keen
And real –
Stagnant, but true –
Of what was once
'Peace' in a
Desperate tantrum –
Silence –
Yes, oh so
Silent,
And the time
Surreal:
00: 00;
And the world,
Calm for no
Particular emotion,
As we strive for this
Lust.
Coming back,
We survive,
But only you remain.
And I...
You had me at,
“Hello.”
