Remember When Poem by Karen Touzalin

Remember When

Rating: 5.0

We were younger then
photographs frame our innocence,
The promise of love
smiles swollen with dreams and wide-eyed curiosity
poised for life,
you and I.
Still time stretches bonds
of loyalty and love
space fragments friendships
I see you now,
older, wiser and no longer curious
but still you gaze at me with with eyes
unshuttered and forgiving
I remember you
well.
