Remember Of The Past Poem by Alexander Foald

Remember Of The Past

People say I’m strong
And nothing can prove it wrong

They can see me move the iron wall
Well that’s one thing they only know at all

But even the sun drops down once a day
And sometimes it’s just so hard to stay awake

A dream can make one’s heart weak
Yet it’s still something we all seek

Because I couldn’t take my mind off
Whenever I saw her, I saw love!

She was the most beautiful thing one can only know
She could be the first name you’ll think of in a row

But life is fair enough not to let our love grow
Since this feeling was nothing but a sight-seeing to go

Only, for once I would remember of the past
Wondering if she lived a different life

Did she find one lucky guy to live happily with?
Did they build the house greater than she ever dreamed?

I must be crazy to think that she thinks of me now
But who knows, maybe we all see different than what we saw

It’s just a feeling of loneliness my body bear with
A rest stop within the highway, a lone chair to sit

Sometimes it is hard indeed to forget what you once felt
Well, I guess I just have to be glad that I knew what I had
