Release Me Poem by Brian Ely

Release Me

The things we say
When we have it our way

Such craziness to risk it all
Can't blame you
Won't blame you
Just the way that it falls
While it lives to rise
Never to fall again

The promises so naive

Our pain
How it grieves

Please...
Release me

Never need you to tease me

I need to keep my calm-
Or it falls-
And if it falls
It's all gone

Please...
Release me.
