The crushing, imobilizing wieght was heaved off of her chest.

Although the devistating wieght is gone,
The crater it left behind is a present reminder of the grief it caused.
Her breathing is still a tourchered pain.

Each day the pain eases ever so slightly.
The gaping divet is gradually being filled
With love, joy and friendship.

Her lungs expand
She breathes deeply for the first time.
