Relaxing Poem by Alison Smith

Relaxing

Rating: 5.0

Air is warm
Laying down enjoying
The serenity of the day
Listening to sounds passing
Wondering what they are

Breeze passes over me
A touch so light
A tickle on a babies skin
Playing with the leaves
Creating the lazy feel

Look up at the sky
So blue and unchanging
Lost in its vastness
Wishing time would stop

Breathing oh so lightly
Chest hardly moves
Relaxing
Not a care in the world

Yes, I found this very relaxing, too, Alison. Takes me out of this dark wintery atmosphere (in England) to thoughts of spring. Ahhh.....now there's a thought. Love, Fran xx

Alison, relaxing, relaxing! Yes, it did the trick. But now I'm too relaxed to do the work I want to do. Excellent Poem and I gave it a big 10. Keep writing, love your words. - David
