RELATIONSHIPS

Fulfilment of desire can mar
Expectations of the harvest yield
When persuasions blooms
Tenderly nurtured
Wither in the day.

Few were those times
When that which promised joy
Exceeded selfish expectations
To earn a special place
Those gifts beyond favour
That which
Passions spent
Remained.
