Relations Poem by Abdul Wahab

Relations

Before anything like money, wealth, name, fame or degree
Counted the most the relation between
Understanding the pain and pressure of partners is utmost important
I should have known this before
Late is better than that what never happen
Now I realise the place where my partner hangs
Below it there coiled up a serpent with a flaming tongue
And I on the cliff laid down flat
With the pressure of huge stone on my back
Holding tight the hand of her who is in danger of straight falling
She should have known this before
Late is better than that what never happen
Now she must realise
The place where I stand occasionally comes there the quivering blizzard.
