Rekindled Poem by Garrett Westcott

Rekindled

The comfort of the brightly burning sun
Does not compare to the warmth of Your golden glorious love
The days were dark
There was no spark
I needed a way to find
The light that I knew
In the days of my youth
Anything for piece of mind
My prayer was for deliverance
I set a two day fast
I knew I had to make a change
And leave yesterday in the past
Now the flame is rekindled
And the torch is growing strong
Jesus is my Savior
To Him my heart belongs

A prayer made with complete resoluteness is always heard. Thanks for this amazing poem. I quote a few lines from the poem: Now the flame is rekindled And the torch is growing strong Jesus is my Savior
