Sin Doth Blind Poem by Garrett Westcott

Sin Doth Blind

After he had travelled the world
And the seven seas
He had seen many people
And their wicked deeds
He knew life was cruel
A harbor of scoundrels and thieves
A life of take what you want
And never say please
The world's at war
He knew in his heart
What he did not know
Was how did it all start?
Just like Job
He did not understand
How God could let evil run the land?
But this he knew
'Till the day that he died
That God is good
And sin doth blind
