Rejection Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Rejection

Rating: 5.0

In the hope of getting a rose
I came to you when it was spring
But it was summer in your side
And a dry thorn I had to bring

In the hope of humming a song
With you sitting by the stream
I had walked a long distance to
You but it remained just a dream

In the hope of getting your love
I waited till my youth is gone
You did not care for my heart
I lost all hope for your return
