Refuge
She couldn't find happiness in herself,
so she found it in him.
He was her refuge,
her beautiful escape.
But what do you do when
your escape, escapes you.
Goes so far beyond your grasp,
becomes so hard to even clutch.
This depressed, beautiful girl
never thought of this; a world without his kiss.
This world seemed impossible,
a world she never wanted to fathom.
