Reflection In The Water Poem by Sky Welch

I lost myself today. I left it far away. I left my feelings behind. I forgot all my memories. My mind is now a blank. You wish to know where I left them. Why, in a reflection of course. The water so smooth and blue. I left them there and away i flew, above the clouds, out past the stars. You keep asking me why. But, I ask you why not. You see, the world is full of bad memories, and that is all I had. But now I am free to make good memories and leave the bad behind. And now you wish to join me.
