REFLECTION
- BY SURENDRA KAJA

WALLS... WALLS..
Cruel Crusade walls;
Skies dropping Fire balls,
Grounds spilling the Hot flames:
Uh... Where is the rest,
In the burning Middle East;
Palestine...decades of unrest,
Iraq...Relentless suicide bombing feast,
Syria...a Playing zone for the West:
Uh... Where is the rest.
The Camps of refugees on rise,
The Cursed created by Unwise;
Mothers without Once loved kids,
Children without once caring fathers;
Youth with faces down and hapless,
Unwanted shapes of cruel Ugly Lives:
Refugees... Refugees.. Refugees...
Unlucky souls of sufferance, limitless,
Tamed every where with fenced walls;
Leaders promise to build walls,
While people forced to travel across the territories:
Leaving behind all hopes with tears,
Because of man made Unwise...
Walls... Walls...Ruthless.. Walls..!

Good depiction of the deplorable state of unrest in the Middle East, well articulated and nicely penned with insight. Lovely poem elegantly brought forth with conviction. Thanks for sharing Surendra. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
