Recovery from pain in walking
Joy in life again
And with it the delusion
That it will be as it was before
And life will be painless from now on
But the places of pain in me are too many
And I know they will come again
So as I walk on now without real pain
As I walk freely and happily again
I also walk warily and in waiting for the next bad surprise
Today now it is alright
But will I really be able to walk this way tomorrow?
