Lost in a world of pain
I see your tears
Dripping atop your smile
I see your hurt
Burning up your silence
I see your wreck
And your strength to rebuild
You see me
Plying the road that leads to you
You see my smile
Trying to heal your pain
You see my hand
Reaching for yours
I see you
You see me
Yet you remain still.
