Rebirth Of Light Poem by David Lovell

Rebirth Of Light

Rating: 5.0

I look up to the sky this lonely night
I find no hope, no light
The stars have fallen tonight
I stand there and all is silence
I look around me and there are so many others
We are together; we are alone
Individually as one we look up to the sky
The darkness is vast, consuming
The stars have fallen tonight

We are vast, a sea of people, still standing
No attention paid to one another, but refusing to be by ourselves
We are together; we are alone
Individually as one we look up to the sky
A light burns, there are more, now a multitude
The stars are reborn tonight
