Reading Love Poem by Poulomi Ghosh

Reading Love

Rating: 5.0

Silence prevailed.
I saw a pair of droopy eyes lost in search of solace.
The lips pushed a crease on his cheeks.
Such unfathomable waves calmed down a messy lump inside my soul.
I closed my eyes and smiled.
I knew the story ended,
As he stole a glance to read me.

A lovely romantic piece of poetry, well articulated and nicely penned with conviction. I like the way you captured the moment of peace, hope, and bliss of love. A good poem indeed. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
