Ravens Poem by Sandra Martyres

Ravens

Rating: 5.0

O black birds,
Flying high
Across the sky
Come not nigh
You bring ill-luck
With all that you pick up
On your daily jaunts
To your favourite haunts.

This is a very charming work, Sandra! Anachronistic (but then, many of my works are also) , but very charming! :)

I am a 'huge' Edgar Allan Poe fan. When I saw your 'Ravens' I 'had' to read it. I agree with Fiona's comments. You've captured one's imagination with very few words expressed. That's the mark of 'talent'. Nice.
