Rainy Days

RAINYDAYS

Rainy Days Are Here Again,
The sun shines thru tears of rain,
Rainbows colour the horizon;
With pastel tints that spell joy,
Weaving magic charms so coy,
Enjoy the rains with gay abandon;

Rainy nights are oh so cool,
Rain makes patterns in a pool,
Its silver drops splatter & revive;
Its pitter patter disrupts the calm,
To one and all like a gentle balsam,
Rainy days make me prance and jive.

Promising abundance and gain,
Heaven smiles thru curtains of rain,
Rains make plants, birds and animals jovial;
Angels welcome rains with song,
Rains wash everything that is wrong,
Rains cleanse and usher revival.
