that which from which others flee
is no myths or illusions
but guns and confusion
the only form of peace and rest
is the safety of a kevlar vest
when the rapist walks the street
and has time to stand and preach
now kissing kids are arrested
to jail to be molested
no cops on the street
the law is in retreat
spend time with those you love
get ready to stop using the soft boxing glove
board up your homes
and forget about your phones
when there is nobody to call
