the wealthy stay healthy

the poor pour through death's door

the rich, with their money, get up and leave
the starving hold on to hope and believe
darkness spreads and sheds
no teachers to fill 10 million empty heads
wandering hopeless fools
no hope of ever even having tools
streets dirty and unclean
thieves and suits take all that is left to be seen

in an unwashed hospital cot
is born new life. into the hot
Africa swells
as does the population of monkeys that there dwells

But, don't sweat or fret
the people will make the right choice! just you bet
take any president as long as he is black
who cares if his sanity is far off track?

embezzlement, hate and rape
cover up the bulging truth with heaps of black tape
