For Lovers That Are Gone
in the dark
of a burnt out park
lie the hearts of a few
wandering what to do
left alone
vulnerable and prone
nowhere to stay
bodies burnt away
searching
and guessing
at what lies in the shadows
or for what hangs from the gallows
waiting and holding on
for lovers that are gone
