Rain Poem by Vanessa Parodia

Rain

come lets sit together
and listen to the rain
the drops of fallen water
on my window pane
every drops a bullet
shattering the sound
of nothing but our breathing
and water on the ground
this storm can not judge us
the water holds no hate
the wind is music to our ears
changing the tides of fate
when the storm is gone
and the mist has blown away
we can open up our eyes
and see the brand new day

Rain coming to an end is a perfect metaphor for a fresh start
