Rain Poem by Cory Calder

Rain

Rating: 5.0

Rain is pouring down,

On this cold day.

I lie here with a frown,

Feeling lonely and grey.

Water splattered,

All over the ground.

My thoughts are scattered.

Listening to the sound,

Of rain drops over head.

Bored and lonely,

Curled up in my bed.

Always single and only,

I might as well be dead.

The rain roars,

Coming down in waves.

On me it pours,

But I cant drown my craves.

It tumbles down the drain,

And metal gutter.

Trying to stay sane,

“Calm down, ” I utter.

Crying in the rain,

So no one will see.

My undying pain,

And will not pity me.

the rain only hides the tears from the world, hiding your anguish... i figure most would rather hide their suffering as not to inconvenience others know the feeling ROCCO
