Rating: 5.0

They call us to follow
And demand everything from us
The soul finds it hard
And body surrender to the whims.

A deep poem telling us of the devilish drive with which we immerse ourselves just to achieve a wish, a dream, a desire, only to find an emptiness after the goal is achieved and all the applause is done. Very nicely written.

Wishes of evergreen tree are amazing really. Beyond the edges our desires grow to hold the earth. This poem is excellently penned...10
