Quid Pro Quo (Octelle) Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

Quid Pro Quo (Octelle)

Dress in Religion, hide your Sin
Torment your soul anguished within
None can heal what Murder did
Justice alone will get rid
Of your fears, endless running
Freedom comes with repenting!
Dress in Religion, hide your Sin
Torment your soul anguished within.

'There is no peace, says the LORD, 'for the wicked.'
(Isaiah 48: 22)
