Quandary

'I wonder at the wonders of life.
A trail of faded footprints is all I can see behind me;
And ahead lies a deep ravine.
One wrong step and I'll slip;
So, I hang here debating,
Shall I go back to the nothingness of yesterday,
Or, plunge into the uncertainity of what they call tomorrow.'
