Qualities To Lead Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Neither will I look forward,
Nor sideways or backward,
I don’t prefer means hard,
No wish to have any reward,

Easy going with no mention,
Why people take so much tension?
Our death will also not invite any attention,
No need to worry and raise the question,

Keeping to self is best way,
Shut the mouth and nothing to say,
Let unnecessary things pass and no attention pay,
Pray for future and bright sun shine ray,

Don’t you think world is so limited?
Showing more but less committed?
Lapses more but never admitted?
Achievements less but ads more noted?

Striving hard for show and illusion,
No conciliation but simple collusion,
Peace not liked and preference to confrontation,
Self interest first is the only orientation,

Me. family and only my house,
Intention clear where interest rouse,
Go for outright gain and never submit,
Wrong means but guilt never admit,

Never failed so far and gained a lot,
Centre of attraction and always in spot,
Maintaining fine and good rapport,
Doing well with garnering support,

Is there anything wrong if I possess,
Have my own way and ideas with access,
Have philosophy of a day and strict adherence,
Bold approach without anybody’s reference,

Person with liberal thought is considered mad,
Always to part with ways and later feel sad,
My views are perfect and clearly read,
Have I not all the qualities to lead?
