Put A Little Heat In Life Poem by Terence George Craddock

Put A Little Heat In Life

what a difference
a little heart makes
survival fire
comfort fire
cooking food fire

even in a modern age
without electricity affordable
or storm power outage

an open fire
a coal range fire
a wood burning fire
a multi-fuel fire
rocks warms cold limbs

only 2 drainpipes
and gutter to fix now
finally slept well last night

so tired but relaxing
trying to avoid winter ills
caused by numb winter chills
