Pushing Me Away Poem by Hebert Logerie

Pushing Me Away

Woman, you have a strange way
Of pushing me gently away.
The other night you disappeared,
Like a butterfly in a burning smoke.
I was sad and that was no joke.
I felt really terrible and weird.

You have a way of pushing me back.
You were scared, you almost knocked
Me out, which would have been
A divine blessing, in disguise.
As previously stated, I don't tell lies:
Please come back, you are my queen.
