'Pure Beauty...' Poem by Shondrika Anderson Williams

'Pure Beauty...'

Rating: 2.7

Sun shining, clouds set as bright as can be.
The many sounds of mother nature singing songs of all sort, flowers blooming such a sight to see.
Grass firmly cut, green as an emerald polished in wax.
With the sky settting so beautifully, baby blue, for what more can we ask.
Bumble bees buzzing from flower to flower.
Birds passing over in flocks of many, hour by hour.
Trees standing as strong as a million soldiers ready for war.
Wind blowing occassionally, feeling as good as the breeze one would feel when riding in a car.
Days as such are to be cherished especially after so much rain.
All dried up the many water puddles, leaving only a mud stain.
Feeling like nothing else matters, I'm alive and well.
Alive to experience every bit of what life has to offer, at least from what I can tell.
Taking swift breaths of this beautiful midday air.
Thinking, there is a God up there.
