' A True Friend Indeed...' Poem by Shondrika Anderson Williams

There's one true friend I know I can count on, no matter what the situation may be.
He sits high and looks low, there's nothing He can't see.
He knows my heart and what's on my mind.
I can always go to Him and love is what I find.
There's nothing He has not brought me through that would make me doubt Him in any way.
For I know that with Him by my side, I can make it through each day.
He has brought me a mighty long way, and I'm getting stronger as I grow.
I gave myself to God and said, devil let go.
I have the victory, no one can steal my joy.
For I am a child of God, blessed and highly favored, untouchable, no weapon can destroy.
With my voice and hands I praise Him for everything.
It's because of Him I'm here today and His love is what I bring.
My love for Him is greater than the ocean is deep.
I am His always and forever, and He is mine to keep.
