' A Family That Pray....' Poem by Shondrika Anderson Williams

Heavenly Father, please hear our cry.
Our family is being tested, but through you we will stay strong, no matter how hard they try.
Once again the devil tried to step in and take one of ours out.
But you shielded him with your love, it's clear that he is blessed without a doubt.
Lord please continue strengthening us all in that powerful way.
Keep us all in a positive mind frame as we face another day.
Grab all of our children up in the palm of your hand.
Violence and jealousy never solves anything, why can't people understand.
Lord please put an end to this rivalry that makes no sense at all.
It's time for this foolishness to stop, unto you I call.
I say it all the time and I'll say it again.
We're a family full of soldiers, no weapon formed against us shall prosper, we're still standing with you on our side till the end.
