Pulse Poem by alicia cross

Pulse

They close their eyes;
Only for a moment.
Walking through the whispers;
Walking through their glares.
Fierce enough to let light shine;
When everyone turns theirs off.
A beast of past and age masking the beauty;
Yet their well-known passion remains at a steady pulse.
Possession of love is all that's needed;
God will then reward with guidance.
